Ebi Gold Waterplant Soil substrate

consists of various burned dark soils and volcanic ash, which are rich in micro and macronutrients. The very large surface area and the open-pore structure create an ideal habitat for the important microorganisms and bacteria in the substrate. These natural living conditions are an important basis for the development of a balanced ecosystem in the aquarium.

The Waterplant Soil contains all the important nutrients for plants and regulates the pH value in the substrate to about 6 – 6.7, which is an ideal value for all water plants so that they can optimally absorb the nutrients. The open-pore structure and the long-term stability of the substrate allow very good circulation of water and an even release of nutrients. The plants develop strong and deep roots and thrive in magnificent eye-catchers.

This substrate should not be pre-washed, you can start setting up the aquarium directly. A slight initial cloudiness subsides within a few hours and an absolutely clear, clean water is created.

The Waterplant Soil is ideally suited for setting up aquariums using the so-called “Dry Start Method”. The aquarium plants are planted in the water-soaked substrate and always kept moderately moist. The plants grow faster and more evenly and only as soon as the desired vegetation appears, you fill the aquarium with water and put the technology (filter, CO2 system, etc.) into operation.

This substrate is only made from natural raw materials and contains no added fertilizers. By using soil fertilizers such as Ferka Aquabase can be used to root the plants even faster.
